Camille Collins is a senior at Berkeley High School, and an award-winning saxophonist. She is a 3-year member of the SF Jazz High School All Stars, and has had the opportunity to perform with legendary artists such as Ambrose Akinmusire, Sean Jones, Pete Escovedo, Sheila E, Ray Obiedo, and Dayna Stephens, at venues such as Yoshi’s, The Jazz Standard, Monterey Jazz Festival, and the Fox Theater. Camille is also deeply involved in uplifting her community in the way she knows how: through music. In addition to being the founder of this program, she has worked as a Peer Mentor for Bay Area Girls Rock camp for two summers in a row, and as a private teacher for all of her high school career.
