Daiki is a saxophonist, flutist, and composer from San Jose, California. He is a member of the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra, the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars Orchestra and the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars Combo. He has received recognition in both performance and composition, including numerous Downbeat Student Music Awards, the Charles Mingus Festival Best Arrangement Award, and the Outstanding Soloist Awards from the Next Generation Jazz Festival.
